Organisational priorities.

SkillsEQuipped aims to provide a stronger more strategic voice in ensuring that Australia’s VET sector delivers stronger outcomes for both employers and employees.

Key roles of SkillsEQuipped includes:

Supporting collaboration between industry, training providers, unions and employers

Understanding and predicting workforce challenges affecting our sectors

Identifying skills and labour requirements now and into the future for our sectors

Development
of industry relevant Training Products and resources

Mapping and promoting career pathways across our sectors

Responsible stewardship of and advocacy for our sectors and their workforce

Our projects.

Working with industry stakeholders, SkillsEQuipped undertakes projects to identify, forecast and respond to current and emerging skills needs and workforce challenges.

We work collaboratively and holistically across the skills system, including collaborating with other Job and Skills Councils, considering cross-sectoral skills needs and economy-wide concerns.

Through these projects we develop potential solutions to workforce challenges that may take a range of forms, including but not limited to development of training products.

Stakeholder Engagement.

Stakeholder engagement is a critical function of our work and as such we host a wide range of forums, roundtable discussions, webinars, events and other stakeholder engagement activities to gain feedback and insights from the industry we partner with.
